Question 1

What is PRISM OS?

Accepted Answer

Ask any founder where their strategy lives and you’ll get four answers: a doc somewhere, a notes app, last Tuesday’s meeting, and a task tool tracking work nobody has connected back to the plan. That gap — between what you decided and what’s actually getting done — is where businesses quietly stall. PRISM OS closes it. It’s one intelligent workspace where your strategy, your decisions, and your day-to-day execution stay wired together, so you can see at a glance whether this week’s work is moving the business — or just keeping it busy.

Question 2

Who is PRISM OS built for?

Accepted Answer

People responsible for outcomes, not just output: founders building and scaling companies, small business owners balancing strategy and operations, operators running launches or growth or change, and executives navigating complex environments. What they share is the question “what actually moves this forward?” PRISM OS is built around it.

Question 3

What does PRISM OS actually help me do?

Accepted Answer

It turns messy, high-stakes situations into structured progress — pricing a product, choosing between suppliers, timing an expansion, making a first key hire. These are the decisions that don’t have a clean answer and can’t be delegated. Clarify the real problem or opportunity; Define the outcome you’re working toward; Structure initiatives and experiments; Turn decisions into scheduled, tracked action. Instead of reacting to whatever the week throws at you, you work from a system with structure and intent built in.

Question 4

Why call it an “Operating System”?

Accepted Answer

Because it’s the layer your other tools sit on. Most leaders run direction, decisions, initiatives, and daily execution through a patchwork of apps and meetings, and PRISM OS is the connective layer that keeps those four things in sync — so you’re managing the system behind your progress rather than a pile of scattered tasks.

Question 5

Is PRISM OS hard to learn?

Accepted Answer

No. You start with two things — a Vision Statement and a Focus Area or two — and that takes minutes, not a weekend. The workspace accumulates structure as your work demands it, with Airis guiding each next step, so the learning curve follows the work rather than preceding it. There’s no setup project to finish before the tool becomes useful.

Question 6

What is PRISM?

Accepted Answer

PRISM is the methodology under the hood: Problem Resolution Through Integrated Strategic Methodologies. It moves work through five phases — Problem Validation, Research & Roadmap, Implement & Iterate, Solution Validation, and Manage & Mitigate — the same discipline experienced operators and consultants apply, built into the workspace so you don’t have to carry the process in your head.

Question 7

What is STORM?

Accepted Answer

STORM is a one-to-five dial that measures how turbulent a situation is and scales the system’s response to match. A level-one question gets a fast, focused answer; a level-five decision with long-term consequences gets the full PRISM treatment — deeper analysis, more validation, more of Airis’s attention. You get rigor where the stakes demand it and speed where they don’t.

Question 8

What is the LENS analysis?

Accepted Answer

LENS is a free analysis of how you naturally think and decide. It measures two driving traits — your thinking approach and what you value most when you choose — and maps you to one of eight Operating Profiles, from Analyst to Trailblazer. It takes minutes, and the profile is yours to keep whether or not you go further with PRISM OS.

Question 9

Is LENS really free? Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

The analysis is free and there’s no card involved. You can take it without an account; you’ll create a free account at the end to see and save your results. That account comes with 25 free credits, so the analysis flows straight into a working session if you want one.

Question 10

What does LENS actually change about the AI?

Accepted Answer

Most AI tells you what you want to hear, because it builds on however you framed the question. LENS points Airis the other way: once your profile is on file, Airis uses it to counter-balance your natural tilt — surfacing the risks a fast mover skips past, or nudging the chronic analyzer toward a decision. It’s calibrated to show you what you’d naturally miss, not to mirror you.

Question 11

What do I get when I sign up?

Accepted Answer

A 30-day free trial of the full workspace, no card required, with $20 to spend on Airis’s premium models that never expires. That includes unlimited Focus Areas, Initiatives, and Conversations, your LENS profile, self-guided strategy canvases, and daily and weekly Launchpad digests. Subscribe when you’re ready to keep going; AI usage is charged to your balance only when Airis runs premium models for you.

Question 12

Do I need to be good at prompting AI?

Accepted Answer

No. Prompt engineering exists because most AI starts every conversation knowing nothing. Airis starts inside your workspace, where your goals, initiatives, notes, and decision history already live, so you write to it the way you’d write to a sharp colleague — plain language, no magic words. The settings, models, and quality checks are handled for you.

Question 13

What is Airis?

Accepted Answer

Airis is the intelligence inside PRISM OS — an engine built to help you think clearly and move important work forward. She applies the structured thinking you’d expect from experienced operators and strategists: first-principles reasoning, systems thinking, root cause analysis, decision science, behavioral economics, financial strategy. What she doesn’t do is replace your judgment. Airis surfaces the right questions, analyzes trade-offs, and turns conclusions into action items. The calls stay yours.

Question 14

How does PRISM OS handle hallucinations?

Accepted Answer

Through validation scaled to the stakes. Substantial questions move through a multi-stage deliberation — alignment, strategy framing, technical review, practical assessment, and a validation pass that checks against known AI failure modes, hallucination included — while quick, low-stakes exchanges take a lighter, faster path. Internal and external sources are cited so you can verify the reasoning and make the final call yourself.

Question 15

Can I see how Airis reached an answer?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the work behind an answer is preserved. Each substantial answer carries its record: the research that informed it — web sources, workspace lookups, memory and integration reads — and the validation checks it passed, available in a drawer beside the answer. When a decision is questioned six months from now — by a partner, a board, or a regulator — the reasoning behind it is still there.

Question 16

Which AI models does PRISM OS use?

Accepted Answer

Leading frontier models, orchestrated for you. PRISM OS assigns each role in its deliberation to the frontier model suited to it and layers its own quality checks on top, so you never pick a model, tune a setting, or chase the latest release. The system keeps improving underneath you without you touching anything.

Question 17

What are “context windows,” and why do they matter?

Accepted Answer

A context window is what an AI can see when it answers you — and in most tools, that’s just the current chat. Close the tab and the context is gone, which is why you end up re-explaining your business to a machine every week. In PRISM OS, your strategy, initiatives, and history live in the workspace Airis operates in, so it answers with the bigger picture in view — which is the difference between a generic answer and your answer.

Question 18

Why does AI so often just agree with me?

Accepted Answer

Because most AI builds on your framing. Load a question with an assumption and the model runs with it, politely reinforcing whatever you already believed — a dangerous quality in a thinking partner. PRISM OS counters this with structured context and structured reasoning. Airis sees your workspace, not just your framing of the moment, and applies reasoning models — systems thinking, root cause analysis, first principles — designed to surface the trade-offs and blind spots your framing left out. Your LENS profile sharpens this further: the system knows your tendencies and deliberately balances against them.

Question 19

Why doesn’t AI alone solve the strategy-execution problem?

Accepted Answer

AI is excellent at producing answers, but running a business takes more: understanding the real problem, weighing options against each other, sequencing decisions over time, and getting coordinated action out of them. A chat window does none of that, and its output evaporates the moment you close it. PRISM OS pairs the intelligence with the system — a structured workspace, decision frameworks, and execution tools in one place. The AI generates the thinking; the operating system makes sure the thinking becomes progress.

Question 20

Is PRISM OS just another productivity tool?

Accepted Answer

No — productivity tools manage work after the plan exists, and PRISM OS operates one level up, making sure the right work is in the plan at all. It clarifies priorities, structures the big decisions, and keeps execution aligned with the goal. Plenty of users keep Notion, Asana, or ClickUp for operational workflow; PRISM OS protects the layer those tools assume someone else has handled.

Question 21

How is this different from ChatGPT?

Accepted Answer

ChatGPT starts every conversation from zero. It doesn’t know your business, your goals, your constraints, or what you decided last quarter unless you type it all in again, and it has no stake in what happens after the chat — no action items, no calendar, no follow-through. Airis operates inside your workspace, sees the full structure of your work, and hands off directly to execution, so the answer becomes a scheduled action rather than a paragraph you copy somewhere and forget.

Question 22

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

Accepted Answer

Consultants bring structured thinking and outside perspective, at a cost and on a timeline that not every problem justifies. PRISM OS puts much of the same discipline directly in your hands — the frameworks, the structured analysis, plus proprietary systems like PRISM, STORM, and LENS — so problems that are too small, too fast-moving, or too early for an engagement still get worked rigorously. And when you do bring in outside help, you’ll arrive with clearer context and sharper questions, which makes their hours worth more too.

Question 23

How is this different from an executive coach?

Accepted Answer

A coach gives you perspective, structured reflection, and accountability — for an hour, every other week. PRISM OS gives you a version of that continuously, inside the place your work actually happens: clarify priorities, structure decisions, turn insight into scheduled action, and track whether it happened. Some of our users keep their coach and use PRISM OS between sessions to maintain momentum — the two stack well.

Question 24

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

PRISM OS is a monthly subscription per seat for the workspace, and AI usage is pay as you go. Standard is $29 a month and Advisor is $39 a month; Enterprise is priced by contract. Every plan includes the full workspace. When Airis runs premium models for you, what that work costs is charged to your balance with a service fee, and your history shows every charge; if the balance runs out, Airis keeps working on a free model at no charge.

Question 25

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new account gets 30 days of the full workspace with no card required, plus $20 for Airis’s premium models and your LENS profile. After 30 days, subscribe to keep using your workspace, or enter a promo code that extends your trial. Anything someone shares with you, such as an advisor’s Client Portal, stays open either way, and you can export your work at any time.

Question 26

Does my balance expire?

Accepted Answer

No. The $20 included with a new account never expires, and neither do funds you add.

Question 27

How do I pay for AI usage?

Accepted Answer

From your balance. Add funds from the billing page in the amount you choose, or set auto-reload to top up whenever your balance falls below a level you pick. There are no packs or bundles, and promo codes are the only discounts. Your plan covers the workspace; the balance covers the premium AI work.

Question 28

What if a session goes wrong?

Accepted Answer

You can dispute it. If a session doesn’t deliver, file a dispute right from the workspace with a sentence about what went wrong and the charge is refunded to your balance right away; edge cases go to our team for review. We’d rather refund a bad session than bill you for one.

Question 29

Is there a plan for teams and organizations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Organization accounts are part of Enterprise: departments, teams, shared organization workspaces, and a shared balance with per-member allotments. Enterprise plans also add your organization’s own provider keys (BYOK), the Pro model set, a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with certifications including SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 as part of your custom setup, deployment on your preferred server or on premises, custom contracts and procurement-ready terms, SSO and enterprise security controls, centralized admin and audit oversight, and custom integrations, with seat pricing set by contract and white-glove onboarding and priority support from a dedicated advisor. Reach us at hello@theprismos.com to start the conversation.

Question 30

What is the Agent account?

Accepted Answer

A seat for an AI agent that works alongside your team inside PRISM OS, with access you scope and its work on the record. It’s coming soon at $4 a month; leave your email on the pricing page to hear when it launches.

Question 31

Why does AI like this cost more than a typical software tool?

Accepted Answer

Because context is the product. Cheap AI keeps costs down by knowing almost nothing about you, which is why every answer is generic — the input was. Airis operates against your strategy, your initiatives, your history, and your constraints, and maintaining and reasoning over that context takes real computational work. We optimize for the quality of the thinking, not the lowest possible AI bill.

Question 32

What execution tools are included?

Accepted Answer

The full loop from decision to done: action items with scheduling and recurrence, a real-world calendar system that shows where your time actually goes, notes that stay attached to the work they came from, and the Living Brief — a dynamic command center that keeps each project’s current state, decisions, and next moves in one place.

Question 33

What are Launchpads?

Accepted Answer

Daily and weekly email digests from Airis: your action items, reminders, and insights, delivered so the day starts already prioritized. They’re included with every plan.

Question 34

Can I work with files and documents?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload documents and Airis carries them as context across your work — reference them in conversation, pull out what matters, and export polished output when you’re done. File uploads and expanded storage come with paid plans; free accounts start with the full workspace and 50 MB of storage.

Question 35

Does it connect to the tools I already use?

Accepted Answer

Your calendar, inbox, and tools stay connected — nothing to migrate. Calendar feeds work with Apple, Google, and Outlook, and 300+ integrations link the systems you already run, from Gmail and Drive to HubSpot, Stripe, and Slack. You control each connection, including when Airis is allowed to use it.

Question 36

Can I collaborate with my team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Share folders with exactly the people who need them, under scoped permissions you can revoke anytime. Collaborators can join conversations, and work stays private unless you deliberately share it.

Question 37

Can I work with my advisor inside PRISM OS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Connect with your advisor on the platform, then choose to designate them as your active advisor across some or all of your workspace. They can join your conversations with Airis, follow your progress between sessions, and work with you in a shared Client Portal, with you controlling exactly how far their access reaches. If your advisor isn’t on PRISM OS yet, you can invite them by email.

Question 38

What does my advisor see?

Accepted Answer

Only what you designate. Connecting with an advisor confers no access by itself — reach is something you grant explicitly, either across your entire workspace or limited to areas you choose, with item-by-item control over profile details like your goals and thinking style. The relationship is one decision, access is another, and both stay yours. You can narrow or end either at any time, effective immediately.

Question 39

What is the Client Portal?

Accepted Answer

The Client Portal is the one shared folder you and your advisor work in. Work inside the Portal is shared, work outside it stays private, and moving something in or out is always your explicit choice — the move itself is the consent. Your advisor can prepare materials in the Portal before you’ve accepted, so the workspace is ready the day you say yes.

Question 40

Can my advisor see my private work? Can I see theirs?

Accepted Answer

No, and no. Your advisor sees only your designated scope — everything outside it is invisible to them — and you never see your advisor’s workspace, their notes, or their other clients. The Client Portal is the single shared surface, and even Airis respects the boundary: nothing it says in the Portal draws on material the other side wasn’t already entitled to see.

Question 41

Can I end an advisory relationship?

Accepted Answer

Anytime, effective immediately. End the designation and your advisor’s access to your designated scope is withdrawn on the spot — they’re notified, and the underlying connection survives if you want to stay in touch. You can also narrow the scope instead of ending it; changes to what your advisor can reach take effect just as fast.

Question 42

I’m an advisor. How do I get set up?

Accepted Answer

Choose Advisor when you sign up, or switch anytime from the Account Type card on your billing page; there’s no approval step. The Advisor plan is $39 a month per seat. You get the Advisor Portal: a dedicated workspace with a Client Manager and a CRM, a private Advisor Studio for each client file, your meetings, calendar, and tasks across the practice, read-only views of each client’s action items and calendar, and Airis briefings at both the portfolio and individual-client level. Your client files and preparation stay private to you — clients see only what you place in their Portal. Clients don’t need a plan to work with you there; with their own, they keep a full workspace and Airis between sessions, where you can support them.

Question 43

Who owns the information I put into PRISM OS?

Accepted Answer

You do. Everything you put into PRISM OS — notes, strategies, initiatives, conversations with Airis — remains your data and your intellectual property. We provide the environment; the work is yours.

Question 44

How is my workspace information used?

Accepted Answer

To serve you, inside your own workspace. Airis references your Vision Statement, Focus Areas, initiatives, briefs, and past conversations so its guidance fits your situation instead of a generic one. Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns may inform product improvements — which features help, where workflows stick. Your individual content is never shared with other users.

Question 45

Are my conversations stored?

Accepted Answer

Yes, deliberately. Your conversations are part of the record of your thinking — stored in your workspace so decisions keep their context and you can revisit how you got somewhere. They stay private to your workspace, and editing or regenerating a conversation deletes the underlying data immediately.

Question 46

Is my data used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Your workspace content is not used to train public AI models, and it is never shared with other users.

Question 47

How is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

Encrypted in transit and at rest, including uploaded files. Workspaces are isolated from each other, sharing is scoped and revocable, and multi-factor authentication is available to every account from your security settings. Enterprise plans add SSO and centralized access controls.

Question 48

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Both, on your terms. Export your complete data as a structured archive, self-serve from your profile. Deletion, correction, and processing-restriction rights are honored under GDPR and CCPA, and editing or regenerating a conversation deletes the underlying data immediately rather than on a cleanup schedule.

Question 49

Is my data sold or shared?

Accepted Answer

No. PRISM OS does not sell your data, and your workspace content is never shared with other users. The vetted providers that run our infrastructure process data only on our behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Question 50

Can I use PRISM OS for confidential business planning?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it’s what the platform is built for. Strategy, staffing, pricing, succession: the work our users bring is sensitive by nature. Your workspace is private, isolated, and used only to support your own work with Airis, so you can think through the hard decisions with the door closed.

Question 51

What is PRISM OS not?

Accepted Answer

PRISM OS is not a generic chatbot, not a to-do list with AI stapled on, not an automated decision engine that runs your business for you, and not a replacement for your entire tech stack. It exists to make your judgment sharper, your strategy clearer, and your execution more aligned — and it’s built to keep you in command of all three.
